By being a part of PASnet, you will gain invaluable information and tips on preparing your PA system. You will be notified of new releases, bug reports, and upcoming software. But when you join PASnet, you will not be the only person who will benefit from this. With every new PA board which joins PASnet, the network will grow, and we can continue to gain information from other people, just like you, who run systems, just like you. How do I join PASnet? Joining PASnet is simple. First, simply set up your system running the appropriate network software (recommended software at the end of this document). While setting this up, please give yourself the Temp. Node Number of 61:100/999. DO NOT FORGET TO COMPILE THE NODELIST. Then, just mail in your application via either my BBS (Information at the end of this document) or via the PASnet. After your application has been received and processed, you will be sent a current node list, available echoes, as well as any other requested or needed files. Recommended Software In order to be a part of PASnet, you will need to be running a FidoNet setup. In order to run this on a Macintosh computer, you will need to purchase one of the following software programs: Aeolus with Formula 1 Tabby MacKennel I personally use Aeolus with Formula 1, and have found it to be very stable and worthwhile, and this would be my personal recommendation for use.
